Whale acoustics expert Jeff Jacobsen will share recordings of humpback songs from excursions off the Mendocino Coast, and comparing recordings from whale in Mexico. JJ will share video from some of the excursions as well as history of how the equipment has changed over the years and how it is deployed.

Jeff Jacobsen is a Science Advisor for the Noyo Center. His career experience includes years working on marine mammal acoustics projects, marine mammal behavioral ecology and seabird ecology and conservation.
