I am so proud to be a part of the Noyo Center. What I like most is seeing kids get so excited and involved in marine science. I know for some it will be life changing.

Working with the other board members for the Noyo Center of Marine Science is an excellent way to participate in keeping this vibrant, essential organization thriving and accessible to the public.

Participating in the annual beach clean up is a surprisingly good time. I get to meet fun people, get out next to the beautiful water, and leave the beach in better shape that it was when we arrived!

Introducing students to marine science every summer is the highlight of my year. In spite of all the serious issues we face, I always come away inspired by these smart, curious kids!

Working at The Discovery Center in Fort Bragg let’s me share my ocean research with all types of people. It’s so fun to open eyes to the amazing creatures in our seas!
