Join the Noyo Center for Marine Science for Whale Walks, an easy, family-friendly coastal walk of approximately 1.6 miles round-trip along the Noyo Headlands Coastal Trail. During the walk, participants will learn about gray whale migration, including how to spot whales from shore, what researchers study along the migration route, and why these coastal waters are important to gray whales.

Participants will also learn about the Noyo Center’s marine science, education, and community programs, including the Whale Migration Challenge and other opportunities to get involved. All ages welcome. Wear comfortable shoes and dress for coastal weather.
